Description

The Illustrator workshop is designed to introduce students to the popular vector based image creation software from Adobe. Concepts to be covered include the Illustrator editing environment, use of common tools within the program, and the fundamental differences between vector and bitmap images. As this is a beginning level workshop, no previous experience with vector based imaging is required.

Objectives

  • Understanding the differences between Raster and Vector graphics
  • Understanding Stroke and Fill
  • Understanding the Pathfinder
  • Understanding the Pen, Shape, Selection, Direct Selection tools
