DescriptionWHO IS THIS FOR?You should review this material if you are a Time Approver or Time Coordinator. If you are a supervisor at the University of Arizona, you are most likely a Time Approver. Time Coordinators are typically Business Managers or Payroll Reps and act as a second pair of eyes to review timesheets and monitor the time reporting process for their departments. We have four options for how you review this content. You are free to use any or all of these resources. The choice is yours. OPTION ONE: LIVE WORKSHOPThis workshop is designed to teach Time Approvers and Time Coordinators how to view, edit, and approve timesheets for department employees using the new UAccess Employee web application. Time Approvers are responsible for ensuring that the timesheets submitted to them by their direct reports are accurate and submitted to payroll in a timely manner. The Time Coordinator will check to ensure that Time Reporters have reported time for the current pay period and that all reported time has been approved. Before attending the live workshop you must a) review the Time Reporter materials and b) complete online FLSA training through Human Resources. The workshop is quickly paced and assumes that you are familiar with the material in these lessons. Scroll down if you want to register for one of the workshops. OPTION TWO: ONLINE TUTORIALSAll of the content from these workshops is also available online. When you are prompted to log in, use your UA NetID and password. Once you launch the online lessons, use My Roles to filter the lessons to Time Approver or Time Coordinator. You will need to use Internet Explorer (best) or Firefox to view these tutorials. Launch UAccess Employee Online Tutorials (Click here for an orientation video on how to use the online tutorials.) If you review the material online, you should also complete online FLSA training through Human Resources. OPTION THREE: PRINTED MATERIALYou can download a booklet version of the materials that are covered in the online tutorials and the live workshop. You are welcome to use this booklet to practice on your own. Download Training Manual If you use the manual alone to review the content, you should also complete online FLSA training through Human Resources. OPTION FOUR: QUIZYou can test your understanding of this material with this quiz. Your department may want you to print your results at the end to show that you passed. Launch UAccess Employee Time Approver Quiz You will be prompted to log in with your NetID and password. |
