About Research Computing Support
Research Computing Support provides leading edge, central, shared use resources and support for faculty, staff and students of The University of Arizona involved in research. The Research Computing resources include high performance computing systems, a high-end visualization facility, scientific visualization consulting, specialized video conference systems and statistical consulting.
The High Performance Computing (HPC) systems and the AZ-LIVE 3D stereo immersive graphics environment are unique resources availble to the campus community. UA research groups share the HPC systems and can take advantage of central machine room space, operations and systems administration by adding components to the central systems using the Base Plus "buy-in" option.
The Research Computing Services Support Group provides technical and scientific support for these advanced resources. Contact Research Computing Support for consultations, workshops and information on participating in the HPC systems.
